No, the USB port does not communicate any data... it is for charging use only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From experience, Logitech mice that are rechargeable can be used when connected via USB through cable. I haven't had a chance to try it on this mouse, but I think it should work. I'm just not sure about turning off Bluetooth. It comes with the unifying dongle though, so you might want to opt to use that instead so you don't have to do any additional pairings.
