Kids CAN use it BUT I have pretty Big hands. Thats One of the major reasons I got it. But thats fairly subjective. Its definitely AWESOME to be able to SPIN the ball fast with a little flick of the thumb and it goes all the way across the screen if you wan it to!! GOOOD LUUCCK!! I think it would be fine for anyone with the dexterity to roll the ball with the thumb and still reach the left and right click buttons. You would have to give that a try to see if it worked for the person using it. Hope that helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have average sized hands for a guy. It isnt much bigger than a regular mouse, but you do not move the mouse in the table like a traditional mouse. For an adult its fine, i don't think it would be good for a kid or if you want to play any game that would be fast paced. This works great for me as a field technician who dosent always have a flat surface to use a mouse.
