• If I follow your question, the answer is yes. The keyboard will detect if it is connected to your Mac or Windows 10. One key is "opt" for Mac, "Windows Start" for Windows. Another key is "cmd" when on Mac, "alt" when on Windows. A third key is "opt" for Mac, or "ctrl" for Windows. All keys are properly labeled for each dual function. • It is possible to use the Mac layout on a Windows 10 OS withe MX Keys for Mac. The Command and Opt buttons will become Function and Alt keys instead when you use a Windows 10 computer. Both versions of the MX Keys can work with either platform. I highly recommend that you download the Options software which will allow you to fully customize settings and personalize them as well.
