I never managed to install the Logitech software (it drove my display crazy) even after several tries, but I'm having no problem using the keyboard without that software. So far as I know, the only thing I'm missing is key reprogramming, and I don't miss that because I have no particular use for it.

Please try again later.Jerry I'm a relatively new owner so take my comments with a grain of salt: - first, I'm not sure what "isn't possible to install" means but I will assume you're on Linux/Android or for some other reason cannot run the installer on your machine (e.g., work restrictions). If that were not the case, I'd say there's not much harm in installing it, and it does NOT require an account to run. So some food for thought. - second, I did install it (without an account), so I'll highlight some of the functions that seem to be ONLY possible with the app: (a) When running the app, each of the F-keys (and keys above the Num pad) are highlighted -- I presume this means I can reprogram them from the app (b) Looking at the dropdown of "alternative" functions for those keys, I'm not super impressed --they're standard Windows things like "Action center" and "Close window" (c) There is an option to DISABLE a small number of keys, e.g., Windows/Start, CAPS, NUMLOCK (d) There is an option to ENABLE/DISABLE on-screen notifications for things like changing brightness (e) There are a few device-specific options like automatically enabling battery-saving mode (no backlight < 10% battery) -third, other than that, pretty much everything else I see can also be done from the keyboard, e.g., toggle the F-keys from F# to keyboard function, viewing the mappings for the Easy-Switch keys, etc. Oh, of course there are also little indicator icons for keyboard battery and connection status. :) Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can switch between computers using the dedicated keys and most other keys behave normally. If you want to change any of the function keys to not perform their other functions, you'll need the software.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Great question, I haven’t come across any loss of features from connecting it via wire and I believe the features are the same with wireless and Bluetooth as it is with wired connection.
