• Hello Paul, I would suggest getting the MX Keys for Mac. It has a USB-C to USB-C charger that you can plug directly into the Mac, without an adapter. -Danielle from Logitech

• USB 3 still uses the USB A connector, and the charging cable is USB A to USB C, so yes you can charge it from your 2015 macbook pro with no special adapter required.
