• No, if the room is too bright the keyboard will tell you so with a message on the screen. Also keeping it on all the time would kill the battery.

• You can turn off the backlight in Settings.

• It stays one as you are actually using it… turns off after about 30 seconds of no use.

• Hello dharans! You can adjust the brightness manually to be fully lit up when you bring your hands closer to the MX Keys Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Mac, but it won't stay on all the time. You can turn off backlighting completely within the Logitech Options software, but there is no option to keep the backlighting on at all times unfortunately.
