No, you should have received a USB-A to USB-C cable. You can charge it from your computer's USB port.

I received a cable in mine but no charger I believe that’s all that is provided. Other option is to only change the batteries which I have done as well

USB charging cable included in the box however is not readily visible. I almost threw it out. It was coiled inside what looked like a cardboard filled/cushion in the box.

You should have received a USB 'C' charge cable but not a wall adapter. The cable is in the tiny box that the bolt receiver is stuck into.
