I wear a right wrist splint with a thumb spica. And because it's a vertical mouse as opposed to a regular flat mouse, I was able to use the all the controls
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't recommend it. It makes my wrist sore and you hold the mouse as if shaking someone s hand. May be aukward with cast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your fingers are sticking out of the cast then yes. This will actually be perfect if you're in a hard cast just because of the orientation of the buttons.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t see why not. It’s tall and you hardly have to grasp it. You need to press it to do certain commands but it’s minimal movement for the hand and wrist, in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The MX Vertical will certainly take the pressure away from your wrist, but I worry about your fingers being able to reach the click-buttons with your hard cast on. I would highly suggest watching this video review of the MX Vertical before you purchase https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DW9O5wDX2jo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you may want to get some type of adhesive gel sheet (like those they sell for mobile phone backs and sides) to avoid slippage if you can't really grip the mouse from both sides (thumb and finger/palm sides). The vertical orientation is definitely recommended for your wrist to be in a nonstressful position.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you could use this. It will be awkward at first but if you are just using it for scrolling and basic left/right button, you will be using your index and middle fingers. You will need to practice with it, cast or no, so it will be slower because you will need to pay more attention to your hand position at first than you are probably used to. Keep your forearm resting against the desk or table and extended as if you were shaking hands, (with the cast you might want a folded towel under your forearm). Then practice and you should be good to go! At least I notice less wrist and thumb tension with this mouse. Best of luck!
