Yes. At least it does on my iPad. Connection is instant once paired.

It is Bluetooth (no usb dongle). However it states in the system requirements it is for an iPad with iPadOS 13.6 or greater. It connects as a Bluetooth device on my iPad. I suspect it will not connect to HP systems because they do not contain the appropriate Bluetooth drivers. Logitech does not indicate this mouse is usable for anything other than an iPad.
