This really comes down to I believe the way in which you set up the video in your presentation. If you embed it to play on a click then it will with any clicker as far as I am aware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To be honest, it depends on how you attach/embed the video. I was able to get it to work by attaching the video activation as on of the animations. This may also work with the one you currently have if you did not try this method.

(Not an obvious step but google start embedded video with presenter click and you’ll find steps shown.) Our works well, but Keynote doesn’t allow it to animate, only PowerPoint.
