• Does not need to be charged, it comes with batteries, i think they were CR2032s, a widely available battery. Seems like, for us they last a year or so.

• The keyboard takes two 3 volt Panasonic button cell batteries, the code number for each being CR 2032. You can buy them at the “Batteries” chain stores.
