Does the keyboard light up? if so how? null

No lights for the keyboard, but the iPad screen is right in front of the keyboard and should provide enough illumination to see the keys if needed.

No. It doesn't light up. I think there are some models that do, but it wasn't a requirement for me. I really like this model.

A light does flicker to let you know it is connected to the iPad. You do not need a light on the keyboard---your iPad has a light.
