This is both a case and a keyboard. The case can be closed for carrying, the tablet standing upright for typing, or flipped over to access the tablet without the keyboard. The keys are soft touch for easy typing, the magnetic strip that holds the tablet upright is strong enough to carry the ensemble around like a laptop, and the keyboard battery lasts a long time.
