• While technically you could pair this Bluetooth keyboard with a Surface, this is not at all what it is for. The Surface screen is sized differently and would not fit the slot that holds an iPad.

• It's Bluetooth so it will but it won't sit in the groove as its only for the iPad Air

• No of course not. This item is specifically designed for iPad mini1,2 and 3. If the demons ions are off just by a few centimeters it will not work. It is specifically designed by Apple for Apple

• If your surface has bluetooth, you can pair the keyboard, but it probably won't fit with the backplate. Besides, the back has magnets in the same spots as the ipad. The Surface 3 won't stay in place because it does not have the magnets.
