No humming noise when turned off. Do you mean when the volume is turned down to zero but the power is still on? The answer is still no.

Mine is perfectly quit when turned off. You may have a defective unit and may want it repaired under warranty. Humming usually comes from a short in the wiring. You may want to check all of the connections to make sure that they are plugged in tight and that the cables are not damaged or defective. Sometimes cable crossing over each other will cause interference and create humming. Humming can also be caused by noisy power line where other appliances plugged in near by are interfering with your unit. If so may need to plug into another outlet or buy a filter to clean the line.
