• Just bought this same model yesterday and am experiencing the same issues. Volume is not turned up and bass is set as low as it will go, the buzzing still occurs when I'm playing a video or listening to music. I can literally turn the knob one click on and you hear it. They are just garbage speakers.

• If the volume is turned up all the way, it’s possible. As long as it’s not buzzing while playing audio, it should be no problem

• Mine do and there is no problem with them. Sounds like you have the volume turned all the way up.

• Yes Mike, pretty much any sound system will make some sort of "hissing" or "humming" sound when turned on and you put the volume to a high level. That is letting you know that it is working and energized. Once you plug the sound system into a device and turn it on, you had better start at the lowest volume and bring it up slowly to the desired level, otherwise you will experience a shockingly loud "surprise" of blaring sound, and may even damage the speakers! But, yes, a "faint" hissing sound when your system is turned on is quite normal. Eric R
