This model (z623 & z625) do not have any built in decoders. If your Blu Ray player or TV is able to decode then it won't be an issue. You'll likely want to purchase the z625 model and run audio through the optical cable.

If you have a headphone output on your TV these would likely work. If not, they won't. 4K refers to the video only, not the audio. This 625 set works fine for my purposes with my computer but t so long as you have a 4K TV and blu-ray player I would recommend a regular amplifier and set of passive speakers or a good quality sound bar with a subwoofer. That way you'll get audio quality which is more aligned with the 4K video quality.

For that you would have to check out our Z906 5.1 surround sound speakers with THX, Dolby Digital and DTS Digital certified sound. I'll post a link to those speakers as well. https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/speaker-system-z906?crid=1588
