Hello. The maximum run on the CAT 5 media is 300 feet. The system comes with four 100 foot spools of CAT 5 cable. However, if you require longer cable runs with this system, you would probably have to purchase an extender through Lorex or another comparable source..

If you are going to connect two RJ45 cables together, Best Buy sells a female to female adapter so that you can connect two cables together for extended length. As stated before, the max length is 300'.
