Jean, I wasnt exactly sure what you meant by observed constantly so I tried to explain what I thought you might be asking. 1. The cameras can be set up to constantly record video. The camera stores the video on a memory card inside the camera and when you set it up you can choose to have it record the video constantly. Because the memory card has limited space once its full it will record over the oldest video. I installed 64gbyte cards in my cameras (the default cards are 16gb) and they store about 5 days worth of constant video so at any point I can see what happened up to this moment and about 5 days in the past. When I go into the time line to view my historical video there are indications in the app where the camera detected motion this makes it easy to find when something has happened in the recordings. 2. To view the video you need to use Lorex's mobile app on a phone or tablet. This app is really pretty good and in the app you can go to live view or you can look at your time line which is all the video recorded in the past that is still on the memory card. In live view you can see what is happening in real time. I dont know if there is a time limit in live view in the mobile app but I have never experienced one. By the same token however I generally dont look at live view more than a few minutes and generally only when I get a notification that there was motion detected. I would assume at some point either the phone or tablet would go to sleep unless someone refreshes it over time. Also I am not sure if you had the video fed to an Alexa or Google device like an Echo Show whether it would eventually time out. Hope this helps!
