• i have a similar LOREX pointed out of a window into a fenced backyard and you can see enough to know if something isnt right. Sometimes the reflection of light off the window limits the view but not enough that you cant tell whats going on.

• No, unfortunately we do not recommend that setup as the glare from the glass can cause issues with certain objects. As well, at night the infra red light will bounce off the pane rendering the night vision feature unusable.
