• This will only work on 2.4Ghz WiFi or Ethernet cable. This will not work on the 5Ghz band of WiFi routers.

• No, it only works on 2.4 ghz signal. It does not recognize a 5ghz signal at all.

• This works using either wifi or ethernet. has othing to do with 5G (which is a cellular network).
