• Your water quality will determine when the LG LT1000P - 6 Month / 200 Gallon Capacity Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter, Model # LT1000P should be changed. It should be changed approximately every 6 months, but if the water filter is clogged with contaminants, the Replace Filter icon or the indicator light will turn on before 6 months. You may also need to change the water filter before 6 months if you notice that the water dispenser output has decreased...^Ivan.
