The Studio does not have internally- or externally-accessible PCI slots. If you wish to use a UAD2 PCI card with the Studio, you will need to use a compatible external Thunderbolt to PCIe expansion chassis (see https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205152283-Thunderbolt-to-PCIe-Expansion-Chassis-Compatibility-). I do not (yet) own a Mac Studio, but I do utilize a Sonnet Echo Express III-D to use my UAD Quad card with my 2018 Mac Mini, which works with zero issues. I have not yet seen any references to (in)compatibility of these units with the Studio, as it is so new, but I anticipate it will work just as well.
