• If you have a wired phone lines through your house you can use one device by hooking to your phone line with the magic jack. You can hook to a cordless phone system also. Great product.

• You need a magic jack for each PHONE NUMBER. If you have multiple extensions on a single phone number, you use this as the source of the dial tone, replacing the current line-in (there's only one).
