Forget about magic jack i was a loyal customer for 6 years. I just switched to omma and no call drops. In the last month before switching I missed more than 60% of my calls. Ooma has live customer service super nice. MJ may be cheaper but I think you will regret your decision. Hope this helps. I've ooma basic and its $7 a month. Hope this helps answer your question. And yes you can use your home phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are some taxes and fees collected yearly that include 911 and local fees.... added upri around $19 plus the yearly subscription fee of $39. As far as getting 6 cordless phones with the same number to work, this is really dependent on how your home is wired. Usually only one phone base connects to the MagicJack via the network, but if you have a 2 wire system in each room then you can hookup the phone(s) that way. Homes are usually with a cat5 or 6 cable these days, while older homes may be wired with a 2 wire cable. The best way is to get a new cordless phone that will allow you to add more handsets to the base unit. Hope this helps.
