Yes you can, but there is a little bit of a trick to it. How I got it to work was to plug in the main line at the source where the phone line comes into the house. This allows all phones on the line to function. Be careful to make sure that the line is disconnected from any other source, as telephone lines generally have some low level current running through them allowing your provider to allow your phone to work even in a blackout.

Once you connect Magic Jack to the router (at that point it will be connected to your network), all of your phone jacks will work. Hope this helps.
