We live in Washington state and traveled to California a lot. When we stayed with friends, we put our computer up on their network and ran magic jack. Never had any problems with this, note that my wife had multiple business calls each day. We never had problems. So you need active internet in each location while you live there and this will work. NOTE be sure to change the 911 information (your address) to match your current location
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Typically the MJ device is registered to a specific address & phone number, so you probably can't just take it back-and-forth. It could also be tied by it's MAC address to your router IP address. You could try submitting your question directly to MJ, but I found them to be unsatisfactory both by phone & chat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just started with Magic Jack and I'm not sure of the answer. I'm not sure you can "switch" numbers but you may be able to forward calls from one to the other.
