I always buy the boxed licenses like these because they are much cheaper than getting licenses directly from Malwarebytes. And I buy multiple as a way of price protection and use one each year. You don't have to do anything to covered devices each year. You will have a Malwarebytes account that you register each device one time. Then each year you just replace the old license with the new one in your single account and all the devices have another year.

I’d just compare close to the date and buy another at whichever is cheaper. You could even buy two now and put the 2nd key in later.
