Yes, just don't use any of the new license because once it starts one it start the clock for all.

Yes, you can download or install from disc, any software at any chosen time. The license starts when you install, I think. Ask Best Buy. However, if you already have a version installed that expired, it's best to install the new version immediately to keep your computer safe. I love this software by the way. Had it for years.
