definately! It does have a hook, but legs are thin. Wt limit is 3.3 lbs I believe. Maybe with your camera and a wt from the center hook you would be fine. Depends on how heavy your camera is. I had a telephoto lens and would say no. But if yours is a point and shoot, it's perfect, easy to use, quick set up, good head. Locks are good too.

Please try again later.It's pretty sturdy when it's windy unless there is big gusts of wind than it's not bad at all but you just have to be careful if your not holding on to it. I've only had it blow over on me once but I had the dji osmo mounted on it, not my camera so that could be the only reason it even blow over.
