“If a 4k hdmi input is used will the hdmi output(s) still include audio that could be used by a tv or potentially stripped off and sent to a separate amplifier? I need a second video/audio feed for another room that has an amplifier.”

Yes, the HDMI output can be configured to output audio and video. However, I recommend the Marantz Cinema 60 in this configuration as it provides 2 HDMI outputs resulting in further flexibility.
