I would say yes. It has all the outputs in back. I have a spare amplifier for the rear channels of my system, but this thing has so much power oh, that I haven't bothered hooking it up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.9.1 using this unit as a pre-amp 11.1 using another power amp I suggest getting the definitive technology tower speakers for the extra Atmos speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this unit hooked up as 11.2 with an external Kenwood automotive amplifier that is also sold by Best Buy just for this purpose. It was a hundred bucks. There are jacks in zone two for this and the Odyssey walks you through your configuration. This was super easy and sounds fantastic. There is a 12v trigger jack on the receiver to remote power the amplifier on; needs to be the mono type plug. For the 12v power supply I used an old Xbox 360 power box; there are plenty of Youtube videos on that. The alternative is to by the power supply for a computer and go that route. You need to have a certain amperage rating to get the power you need. If you go the more expensive amplifier route that will work as well, but is way overkill for two additional channels.
