Q: QuestionI'm looking for 3 speaker zones. (2 indoor, 1 outdoor) Does this receiver support that?

• A:Answer Hello. If you wish to have 3 independent zones, the Cinema 40 is the first model in our line-up to offer this. The Cinema 30 does too. If you have speakers in three rooms, but are okay with up to two independent sources to switch between them, then the Stereo 70S will fit the bill. That being said, it is worth using a speaker switching box with impedance matching to achieve this. Best Buy will be able to assist with this.

Q: QuestionCan this stereo play A and B speakers at the same time? Also i would like to use a center channel on this system what do you recommend?

• A:Answer Yes, it is possible to play both the A and B speakers simultaneously with the Stereo 70S. However, when using two pairs of speakers at the same time, ensure that neither pair has a nominal impedance rating of less than 8 Ohms (please refer to the speaker user manual). If the impedance is lower, there is a risk of equipment damage, especially at high volume levels. Please note that the Marantz Stereo 70S is not a surround sound receiver and does not have a connection for a center channel speaker. If you are looking to connect a center channel speaker, you may want to consider the Marantz Cinema 70S instead.

Q: QuestionBluetooth to pair to tv?

• A:Answer Hello. The Stereo 70S can pair with a TV via Bluetooth, but the TV would need to have a Bluetooth transmitter built-in (and activated - see TV manual for details). This may not be the best way to connect your TV however, as Bluetooth works better with audio-only sources due to latency (audio/video sync) issues. A newer HDMI cable (Version 2.0 or 2.1) is recommended to connect a TV with an AVR.

• A:Answer Hello. The Good news is, the Stereo 70S has a 2 channel amplifier built-in. Once you have your CD player hooked-up, all that is required to complete the system is for a pair of speakers (or headphones) to be connected.

• A:Answer Yes, 4 speakers can play at the same time, but make sure they are all 8 ohm speakers (when playing in parallel the apparent impedance the amp sees is 4 ohms).
