- Answer Hi Dennis, Thanks for your interest in the Marshall Speakers. The Emberton II that you know and love has an SPL rating of 87 dB SPL @ 1 m; the Emberton III has an SPL rating of 90 dB SPL @ 1 m; and the Middleton an SPL rating of 87 dB SPL @ 1 m. The Middleton will have more bass, but the Emberton III a smaller footprint. We recommend checking out both speakers and returning the one you decide isn't for you.

- Answer Hi Kish ~ I did some research as I also own this speaker and yes you can pair a Marshall Emberton III speaker with two phones simultaneously, allowing you to play audio from both devices at the same time thanks to its multi-point connectivity feature; simply connect both phones to the speaker via Bluetooth and switch between them as needed.
