Hello Nile, The loudness of the Emberton III is measured by its SPL rating: 90 dB SPL @ 1 m. The SPL rating measures it's loudness at a 1 meter distance from the speaker, this is a more consistent means of measuring the power (volume level) of a speaker than its wattage.
