Can I connect a wired microphone to this unit? null

A pre-amp will be required to bring the audio signal up to line-level if you want to use the Tufton with a microphone.

It has a 3.5 mm input jack, I don't see why it wouldn't work with a microphone. But I don't own one to test to be absolutely sure.
