• It is rated IP67. It’s waterproof down to 3 feet under water. Showers should not harm it.

• The Willen has a rating of IP67, it is dust and water resistant - not waterproof. It will be fine if used in a bathroom with a shower.

• It is waterproof to the extent of getting caught in the rain, or dropping it in a pool by accident, and immediately removing it and drying it off. It is not designed to be submerged in water. You will have no rust issues by placing it in the bathroom, just don’t run it under the shower or submerge it underwater. This speaker is rubber and will not rust or malfunction from shower steam.
