Do I have to plug these in to a power source? null

Yes, these speakers each need to be plugged into a power source. I love these for music and for movies and placement was actually more forgiving than other speakers I have tried. The only weak point so far is voices during movies. They are ok. Most towers benefit from a center channel speaker and these are in that group. Musically though, these have air and space and clarity. These are keepers in my house.

Yes. Each speaker comes with a small power brick which only charges the electrostatic surfaces. The speakers themselves are powered by the audio (speaker level) signal from your amp. They are not "powered" speakers like a subwoofer.

Yes, the speakers must be plugged into any AC power source, in addition to connecting wires to your amplifier/receiver.

Yes. Each speaker comes with a detachable “wall blister” that plugs into a standard 110V household electrical outlet to supply current to the electrostatic panel.
