“If I buy the ps4 version, will I be able to upgrade this to a ps5 ray trace 4k type version (if that's an option)? I wanna pre-order this due to the cool artwork and soundtrack but I haven't had ANY luck snatching a ps5 yet.”

Yes if a game says ps4 & ps5 always buy the ps4 version . because you can't play a ps5 disc in the ps4. you pop the ps4 disc in the ps5 then click the 3 dots next to play and select ps5 version. it will download the digital version if the game , remember the disc has to stay in the ps5. when you start the game it will have everything the ps5 disc version has . framerate selection or resolution.
