That’s what I would do, but they usually catch you up yo speed in the new game through story telling. I think you’ll be fine either way. They’re sequels, but you don’t have to play one to understand the other.

I hadn't played Spiderman before getting this edition and I went straight into original Spiderman then Miles Morales. It does help because I think Miles game is slightly harder than Spiderman.
