I think that Best Buy used to have a gamer club subscription where they let you trade in old games for store cred, just like GameStop, but I’m pretty sure they shut down that operation at Best Buy a while back. It must not have worked out for a company that mostly sells new items. There an occasional open box item, but GameStop has really evolved into a video game pawnshop is you ask me. Lately they haven’t been able to get my pre-orders to me on time. It took them 2 weeks for two different games that I had pre ordered long before release. Your best bet is to open an account with Best Buy where you earn points when u purchase games and accessories and apply that to future orders. It’s much easier to pre-order at Best Buy and have it shipped. I personally like in-store pickup options.
