“Can this be installed in a cabinet with a 12 inch depth? I realize it would protrude about ½ inch or so, but is the outside of the unit 'finished' as to allow this?”

Thank you for that answer, but reviewing the installation instructions (as I had already done before I asked the question) did not provide me with any information about the appearance of the outside surfaces of this appliance.
