- Answer No. I paid $189 for installation (delivery included) and also for the connecting pipe. The total bill was above $700. The item was on sale for $500.

- Answer ocatrina, the Dishwasher drain hose loop with checkvalve is 67 inches. There is also an optional 12' drain hose extension that can be purchased separately.

- Answer It does not have a latch/catch, just pulls open. Spent several minutes looking for one first time I used it. The controls are actual buttons.

- Answer No, but there is a set price that covers all listed above. Buy the installation kit, and you will have a new steel braided hose (your home insurance will like that to keep from accidental flooding}. Pay it and all you have to do is be at home when it arrives. In 30 minutes you are washing dishes.

- Answer Best Buy usually charges for installation, bit could have free delivery and take away of the product. You will also usually have to buy an installation kit in order for the product to be installed.

- Answer I’m a new owner and do not run the dishwasher everyday. I’m very satisfied with this dishwasher. In the beginning I had some trouble getting the dishwasher to run (control panel?) but I haven’t experienced this recently. Hope this helps.

QuestionHow many place settings does this dishwasher hold for $499.?

- Answer I suppose it depends on what exactly counts as a "place setting" -- just a plate and three basic utensils, or do you include salad forks, bread plates, caviar spoons, etc? ;-) More seriously, I count the following: Lower rack has space for a total of about 20 full-sized plates, plus space for at least 64 utensils, and a few slots for larger serving utensils. The upper rack has room for a total of about 22 saucers. (I am attaching a picture of my partly-loaded dishwasher so you can get an idea. The dish pattern is Pfaltzgraff Gourmet.)

QuestionI am trying to decide between - White (MDB4949SDH), Black (MDB4949SDE) or Finger Print Resistant Stainless Steel (MDB4949SDZ). Are all specs identical between these? The first two list the number of wash arms (as 3). The last doesn't list it.

- Answer Normally Installation is $150 but now they are running a free installation special, removal is $15. we bought this unit and my wife loves it. very quite and Motor comes with 10 years warranty. This is a great deal for this stainless steal dishwasher.

- Answer There is a cutout toward the top center of the door. Put your fingers inside the cutout and pull. There's no latch or anything. The door just opens when you pull it.
