- Answer Hello Rachel! This model dries via a phenomenon called condensate dry. No dishwasher actually requires a vent. BUT depending on the tub and other technology designed on the unit, some dishwashers have been designed with vents to ENHANCE the drying performance.

QuestionIf the delivery men will remove the old appliance, do they have to know ahead of time before they deliver it or can I tell them at the time they come into my home with the new appliance?

- Answer I originally answered no when scheduling my delivery that we did not want our old appliance taken away. When the new delivery came and everything installed, the service person asked if we would like the old appliance removed so to answer your question, they asked us if we'd like them to take our old appliance even though I originally said no. It shouldn't matter either way but this was just my experience. I'm not sure it's the same for everyone. Good luck!

QuestionIs the dry vent on top or is it vented out the front? We have had damage to the underside of our countertops with the heat coming on top. Thanks!

- Answer LucyEthel, the dishwasher isn't vented. The condensation from the steam is collected in the bottom and drained out.

- Answer Inside is stainless steel. Very nice! High Quality! I think it has a rinse and hold cycle too. That is not a feature I use, and I am not at home to check it.

- Answer HI Tracy, The red lock light is on because the control panel has been locked. Look in your use and care manual for instructions on how to unlock the control panel.
