“Would material around front vent rust like some of the less expensive whirlpool models? Also, Is that the only way for steam and moisture to be removed. My current Kitchen Aid has a vent in the left side of door that is ruining my cabinets.”

I replaced my old dishwasher with the Maytag. The vent is in the front. My old one vented on the side and ruined one of my cabinets. The Maytag is awesome!
