• Yes you can. Actually the handles are on the side, itcomes without the handles on, you have to out install them, they provide the screws.

• RAL, there are specific instructions to removing the handles on the refrigerator. They are located in the use and care guide on page 5.

• Yes the handles can be taken off. The Geek Squad had to remove mine so I definitely know it can be done.
