No. Very few machines have the suds-saver feature that was common years ago.

The Washer does feature a spray rinse so rather than swish your articles of clothing around in a tub of soapy water, we now spin the tub and spray water so any detergent and soils in the cloth is pulled through the fabric from the force of the spin. The water is then pumped out of the washer by the drain hose. The MVWX655DW carefully measures the water, if too much is added your clothing would float above the wash plate and the cycle will give poor results.
