“(1) The tab in the detergent tray has never stayed up, should it. (2) Is there anything I can do about water staying in the fabric softener and detergent tray when cycles are complete? My washer has done these things from day one.”

I have had the same problems, plus other problems since day one also. My fabric softener tray worked one the first load, and never worked again. Water sensor is a joke. Rinse & Spin cycle has to be used up to three times to spin out water for a full-sized quilt. It's very noisy also. I will not put up this for 10years. I'm getting a new washer. (I also bought the dryer. It runs very hot even on low!!!!) This set is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
