It never uses enough water. I had an LG that actually got all the clothes wet. I did find that if I sometimes put two soaking wet small hand towels in each side of the tub (for balance) it will sometimes fill with more water. as for the noise, all I can say it is something you have to get used you. The LG is so Quiet. I wish I could have kept it, but I couldn't reach the bottom and standing on a stool is too dangerous for a 67 year old woman.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My washer is only a couple of weeks old. This washer does not fill up with water like a traditional old school washer. It is a high efficiency washer so it uses less water. The sensing noise is normal. It senses the weight of the load and adds water accordingly. Sometimes this step takes a few minutes. You don’t need to remove items, unless you have it overfilled. It is a bit “noisy” but I don’t think it any noisier than others. I have found that it is a very effective washer and am pleased with its operation.
