“Best Buy's webpage lists this machine as not being high efficiency, but the same washing machine (MHW5500FC) is listed as HE on Home Depot's and Lowes's site. Is this machine HE or not?”

• Yes. It is HE. I just purchased this machine a month ago. It’s cleans great (and the matching dryer is awesome too). It’s a bit noisier then I expected (when it is filling with water or changing cycles) but this isn’t a bother to me as it is in a laundry room and I can close the door.
